Thida graduated with a degree in Law and Accountancy in Cambodia. She is from Cambodia and has a passion for teaching the Khmer language in Singapore. Her keen interest to take up the challenge as a Khmer teacher in Singapore is because she thinks Khmer language can be a complicated language to learn without the help of a patient and dedicated teacher. Thida believes she has both of these qualities to deliver the subject to her students but most importantly, she observes that students learn best in an “input learning environment” where students are given the opportunity for active participation by practicing and passive learning by repetition methodology. To constantly meet the expectation of the students, Thida will also use a feedback loop to monitor the progress of the students and if required, to adjust and adapt the learning styles for improvement.
