Language Teacher

We’re constantly recruiting teachers of any of the languages we teach. If you believe in learner-centred education and effective instruction, we want to hear from you.

You will:

  • Teach group and individual lessons for general and specific purposes
  • Teach on a face-to-face, blended and online basis
  • Teach at the school or the client’s office
  • Set and mark homework assignments
  • Monitor learners’ progress and produce reports
  • Administer and mark pre-course and post-course assessment tests
  • Organise and take part in social activities

We’re looking for someone who:

  • has a high level of linguistic competence in the target language (ability to use it and describe its grammar and vocabulary, but also use it in a manner that is appropriate for a classroom setting)
  • holds a high school diploma, university degree, equivalent or higher educational qualification
  • is a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Long-term Visit Pass holder
  • has good computer skills and is familiar with online teaching applications
  • is presentable, dynamic and proactive, and possesses excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills

Corporate Affairs Executive

If you are committed to your clients and have great organisational skills, you’ve found the right job for you!

You will:

  • Manage client accounts (e.g. maintain relationships, manage and monitor contractual deliverables from pre-course to post-course implementation stage, survey satisfaction, prepare reports, etc.)
  • Promote business development (e.g. identify opportunities, market and customize products and services, make offers and proposals, create collaterals, negotiate contracts, maintain public relations, etc.)
  • Manage course runs (e.g. prepare course documents, set up course venues, distribute course materials, survey satisfaction, etc.)
  • Plan and coordinate course schedules (e.g. plan and timetable courses, disseminate information, select venues, assign teachers, etc.)
  • Manage student academic processes and procedures (e.g. monitor attendance, complete transfers/withdrawals/deferments, manage assessment records, reports and awards, etc.)
  • Support academic development (e.g. assist in the design and development of courses, materials, assessment, etc.)

  • Diploma / Degree or equivalent.

Recruitment and Operations Executive

You will:

Academic Materials Intern

Job Scope

1) Recording Project

  • Assist in scriptwriting or generation of ideas for listening materials
  • Coordinate schedules and record audio materials with teachers across 13 language departments
  • Post-production editing of audio files

2) Academic Materials

  • Writing and Formatting
  • Assist in the creation of new courses
  • Assist course developers with formatting course materials
  • Design academic resources for classroom use in collaboration with teachers

3) Course Marketing

  • Create marketing posters and infographics
  • Assisting with research on avenues for marketing new courses
  • Creating marketing materials for blended learning and the virtual classroom

4) Maintenance of Language Resources

  • Import and organise audio tracks in iTunes

5) Any other projects taken on by the Academic Department

 

Requirements

  • Able to communicate well in Standard English
  • Fluency in additional languages will be a plus
  • Knowledge of audio editing software and familiarity with iTunes
  • Good organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
  • Minimum commitment of 3 months

Digital Marketing Intern

If you believe in great design and original content, we want to hear from you.

You will:

  • Work closely with our marketing executive on digital marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with web developers and assist in the planning and revamping of our website
  • Maintain and generate content for the company’s social media accounts
  • Write features for our monthly newsletter centred around language education and genuine stories of our students and teachers
  • Support other branches of the administrative department on an ad-hoc basis

  • Good copywriting skills and a flair for storytelling
  • A good eye for design and visual communication
  • Independence, resourcefulness, and an interest in learning new creative skills
  • The ability to collaborate on different projects and teams
