Language immersion
Immersion & Application

We expose you to practical aspects of learning a language.

By engaging you with real-life tasks and scenarios relevant to everyday use, we develop your language competence as well as your understanding of social and cultural norms.

Communication & Interaction

We give you more opportunities to practise and interact.

We facilitate meaningful interaction and language use in the classroom to help you achieve authentic communicative outcomes.

Interaction among language learners
Personalisation & Motivation

We adapt to your learning goals and preferences.

Motivation is key to language learning. We take the time to understand your goals, and give you timely and personalised feedback to help you accelerate your progress.

What is my language level?

At inlingua, we use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to define our language levels.

Our programmes, materials and certificates are aligned to this international standard for describing language ability.

Elementary

A learner at this level can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Who is it for?

For learners who have never studied the language (BEGINNER) or learners who have already studied approximately less than 100 hours of the language (ELEMENTARY).
